I'm not sucking anyone's dick. You make good points and someone does have control over the bots, it's always been possible. I just think that the population of site tipped further towards creatives than to the noncreative audience with the recent avalanche of twitter/tumblr people, and most just use it as a storage space/advertisement (See art portal). But it's up in the air, people are working on things, I 've been enjoying the CC rush that's been happening lately.
